Social sustainability
Social sustainability is the glue in all our architecture. Our spaces are designed for people to connect, feel good, and thrive. By understanding people’s needs, listening to diverse perspectives, and collaborating with local stakeholders, we create socially inclusive environments that make a difference in everyday life.
From residential neighborhoods that foster community, to workplaces and public spaces that build identity and belonging, social sustainability is a natural part of how we think and work. We aim for our architecture to act as a catalyst for social well-being and engagement. By designing spaces that encourage activity, safety, and participation, we contribute to long-term solutions that strengthen society.
Whether developing housing with vibrant ground floors, designing schools that promote interaction, or creating sports facilities filled with joy and movement – we always put people first.
Are we building for lasting social value now?
Our goal is to make a difference. This could mean developing safe urban environments in city plans where public and private spaces blur, or creating flexible, inclusive facilities that welcome everyone. In projects like Bellevuegården and Mälarhöjden Ice Rink, we focused on creating safe meeting places where people of all ages and backgrounds can participate in and contribute to shared spaces.
