Basically, our job is to make our clients’ customers happy. Those of us who work with hotel and restaurant concepts at Tengbom’s have in a short time built a good reputation since our environments are appreciated and continue to be visited year after year. The interest in travelling and therefore food and accommodation is growing fast and more and more people identify with the choices they make on their travels. This is why strong and well imagined concepts are more important than ever. We manage this by always focusing on our clients, having a personal and close relationship and by listening to our clients’ and their guests’ requirements. We don’t do anything for our own benefit, we have a mature attitude to all our projects. We consider it a basic requirement that the client should be involved and a co-creator in the process. Equally important is the dialogue with operations in the environments that we work with because their work environments must also function. For what would architecture be without the people in it? The user is always in the centre for us and we show as much consideration to them as we do to the technology for example when we add an industrial kitchen to our projects.
We work with anything from major hotel groups where the projects often start with programme documents to be realised a few years later, to rapid sketchy projects where a client may wish to start with a mood board as the basis for an upcoming renovation.
